The SITRANS AS 100 acoust ic sensor detects high frequency acoustic emissions from friction or the impact of dust, powders,granules and other solids in motion. It signals flow/no flow or high/low flow. It features compact stainless steel construction for harsh environments and non-invasive mounting. The SITRANS AS 100 can be connected to a SITRANS CU 02, which processes signals from the sensor, providing relay and analog outputs for connection into a process, or it can be connected directly to a PLC analog input.
